Things I did in a rainy week sans laptop

We had a lot of rain last week.   I loved every second of it.

Hopefully, maybe some more today and tomorrow.

I wanted to take some pictures of it so I went here.   It was pouring down so I didn't stay long.  I didn't have an umbrella.

Umbrella???

We don't need no stinkin' umbrella here in Aizona.

Nice little lake in the background.

And the ducks loved it, of course.

They looked at me like......"Is she nuts?  It's raining out here.  This is our weather.  Get oudda here!"

I made two more quilts.   I liked these.   I wasn't sure about the pink fringe, but it did turn out cute.  The ties are the same color but after the fringe got on, they looked white.

Now I've got material for another one.

It's Sunday and cloudy.  A perfect day.

  2. That's unusual isn't it? I do remember monsoon season, but it wasn't in late January. Neat photos.

  4. All we get is freezing rain, followed by snow followed by a thaw, followed by freezing rain...get the picture??
I am so ready for Spring. Although we do have to visit Arizona for a trip to Mayo. We may take a day or two to sight-see! Love your quilts! Do you sell any??

  5. Where the heck did the ducks come from?
Isn't making things so self gratifying. It is to me.
    Very pretty work. (((hugs)))

  6. I love your lake shot. The quilts, I have never seen one with fringe like this, and I love the length of the fringe, too. I do not know which is the prettiest! They are unique and beautiful, wow to what you do with no computer!

  7. Congratulations on the rain AND making two quilts! Every once in awhile, you hope for bad weather so you are forced to play inside! I think it's a win-win situation!
The quilts are cute, by the way. Very happy colors!
We need more moisture here, although the bit of snow we had was most welcome.

    Have a good week, girl.

  9. I bet that the fringe takes longer than the quilt! They are bodacious. That means cute in 70's language
